WIKA Realty Holds a Series of CSR Activities in 3 Locations

Jakarta, 25 February 2022 - PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”) carried out a series of Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (“TJSL”) activities in February 2022. These activities were carried out in WIKA Realty projects, including Tamansari Swarna Palembang, Tamansari Puri Bali II Sawangan, Depok, and Tamansari Panoramic Bandung. 

 

The first series of TJSL activities was carried out by the Tamansari Swarna Team on the Sekanak Lambidaro River, Palembang City in collaboration with the Palembang City Government and the surrounding community. Activities carried out include the Restoration Mutual Assistance/Cleaning Movement for the Sekanak River as well as tree planting movements, sowing fish seeds, and holding festivals involving the Community, MSMEs, Culinary and Crafts of Palembang. The event is also attended by the Governor of South Sumatra, Herman Deru, the Mayor of Palembang, Harnojoyo, the Regional Secretary for the City of Palembang, Ratu Dewa, the Head of the Central Sumatra VIII River Region, Maryadi. 

 

The form of corporate responsibility carried out by WIKA Realty is not only in the form of activities carried out in public facilities, but also in the facilities in the surrounding area in the project. The Tamansari Puri Bali II team in Sawangan, Depok carried out TJSL activities in the form of planting tree seedlings and reforestation. This activity is one of the CSR programs which is carried out regularly every year. 

 

The series of TJSL activities were continued by the Tamansari Panoramic Apartment Bandung Team, which renovated the prayer room facilities in the apartment building. The renovation started on February 23, 2022 and the plan is targeted for completion on March 1, 2022.

 

WIKA Realty hopes that this series of activities can be a manifestation of the company's commitment to its responsibilities to related stakeholders.
