WIKA Realty Held Management Handover of PT Hotel Indonesia Property

Jakarta, 15 October 2021 - Due to the change of share ownership in PT Hotel Indonesia Properti (“HIPRO”) which was originally owned by PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero) (“HIN”) to PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”), on Friday (15/10) WIKA Realty carries out the Handover of the HIPRO Management. The event is attended by the Directors of WIKA Realty, including Koko Cahyo Kuncoro as the President Director, I Kadek Suartana as the Director of the Hospitality Business, Prata Kadir as the Director of Engineering and Development, as well as the Directors of HIPRO from the previous period, as follow Bobby Mandala Putra and Ismet Komarudin. Also in the attendance, the current period of HIPRO's Board of Directors, Muhammad Isran and Anom Widiyantoro, as well as the management of WIKA Realty and HIPRO.
This event is one of the achievements of the BUMN Holding Hotel Phase 1, as stated by Koko Cahyo Kuncoro in his remarks, "this handover ceremony not only marks the joining of HIPRO at WIKA Realty, but also with the Wijaya Karya family together with PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero) to promote SOE hotels to become the pride of Indonesia”.
I Kadek Suartana who is also a Commissioner of HIPRO for the current period, also stated, "as the management of HIPRO, we are given the mandate to continue our performance in building Hotel Indonesia Properti to be more advanced and bring the success of the hotels under the company's shelter so that they can compete with other hotel brands at a time when the hospitality industry is experiencing a decline due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
At the handover ceremony, Bobby Mandala Putra said, "As the Board of Directors, we are grateful that we have overseen the completion of the Phase 1 acquisition of the SOE Hotel Holding. We appreciate the trust that has been given so far and apologize if there are shortcomings in the implementation of the task."
Furthermore, Muhammad Isran as the President Director of HIPRO also gave his speech, "As the new Boards of HIPRO, we ask for direction, support, and cooperation from our shareholders and management to work hard together to bring HIPRO to achieve the best performance and targets.”
