Integrating the Hospitality Business, WIKA Realty Held Rebranding of SOE Hotel Holding Merumatta Senggigi Lombok and 9 KHAS Hotels

Lombok, 20 November 2021 - Subsequent to the hotel business integration, PT Wijaya Karya Realty (“WIKA Realty”) as the holding company of the State-Owned Enterprise ("SOE") Hotel Holding carried out a rebranding activity for Merumatta Senggigi Lombok hotel and 9 KHAS Hotels in Lombok on Saturday (20/11). This activity is attended by Deputy Minister of SOE II, Kartika Wirjoatmodjo and the ranks of the Ministry of BUMN. Also in attendance, President Director of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (“WIKA”), Agung Budi Waskito, Director of HC and Development of WIKA as well as Project Management Office SOE Hotel Holding, Mursyid, President Director of WIKA Realty, Koko Cahyo Kuncoro, President Director PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero), Iswandi Said, and the board of directors of SOEs.
This rebranding event is an evolution in the SOE hotel business which aims to increase the values ??of hotels owned by BUMN. The rebranding process is marked by the transformation of Hotel Killa Senggigi into Merumatta and 9 units of Hotel Pesonna located in Pekanbaru, Tegal, Pekalongan, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Gresik, Surabaya, and Makassar which became KHAS Hotels.
Mursyid as the Chairman of PMO SOE Hotel Holding said, "we are doing this rebranding as one of the strategies of the overall roadmap of SOE Hotel Holding in increasing the value of SOE-owned hotels as dynamic accommodation services with unique values ??and characteristics to create authentic local hotels."
The transformation of the Kila hotel into Merumatta Senggigi is carried out to strengthen the presence of the Meru brand by making this hotel a 5 star hotel, from the previous 4 star. In addition, the KHAS brand is dedicated as 3 star hotels which become a hotel with strong characteristics that highlight the local culture of each hotel represented.
WIKA Realty has now officially become the holding company of the SOE Hotel Holding which in its first phase owned 21 BUMN hotels with PT Hotel Indonesia Group as the operator.
